The modular structure of WinCan software means you licence only the functionality and capacity you need, making it easy to maximise return on investment.

Features:
• is compatible with all major inspection systems
• supports the new methods for virtual pipe-unfolds by IBAK, IPEK, RICO (Panoramo, DigiSewer, RPP)
• records multiple section and manhole inspections for subsequent comparison
• possesses configurable input and documentation fields, saves user adaptations in reusable templates
• records digital video in real time in MPEG 1/2/4, DivX or Microsoft formats (also available for Notebooks)
• links and manages additional documents such as drawings, text, tables, plans, images, diagrams, etc.
• offers numerous interfaces for two-way data exchanges with GIS programs such as ESRI, MapInfo, SmallWorld, etc.
• records and synchronizes data with portable manhole recording systems (WinCan Condor)
• generates comprehensive and attractive product documentation (sections, manholes, gradient measurements, drawings, etc.)
• saves projects optionally in MS Access, MS SQL or Oracle databases
• offers user-defi nable and easy-to-use database queries and sorting options
• distributes inspection data with no need for a license or installation (WinCan® Viewer)
• is available as a single-user or network version for up to 250 users

NOTE: WinCan v7 will no longer be supported from February 2009

DigiSewer™

DigiSewer™ opens up completely new possibilities in pipe inspection. This NEW DigiSewer™ lens - is a fish-eye lens with an aperture of 180 degrees. This means you look straight head, to the left, and to the right, all at the same time - allowing you to inspect simultaneously the pipe in front of you, the pipe walls, branches and stubs on either side. This is just one of the DigiSewer™ special features. The video recording is digitized and saved to memory; it can then be viewed in two - dimensional form as an overview of the entire pipe-section.

DigiSewer™ is a fast and reliable method of measuring the pipe condition into digital form. It provides automatic interpretation of condition data in dimensional accuracy of one millimetre with a special analysis software.

How:
DigiSewer™ measurement and analysis equipment is attached to the iPEK CCTV Camera systems. So if a client already has an iPEK system in use they only need to purchase the DigiSewer™ lens with anaysis programme and you are already to start!
The DigiSewer™ Survey looks the same as the conventional CCTV survey which is already in everyday use. DigiSewer™ is driven inside the pipe which is cleaned prior to survey work, and is then run uninterruptedly from one man hole to another - there is no need to stop the equipment where defects at noted like in conventional CCTV surveys. All data millimetre by millimetre is collected and saved.

Results:
It is easy to examine and review the measured and analysed data on screen in the office through a seperate viewer program which is included in the DigiSewer™ package. A complete manhole-to-manhole distance can be reviewed from the computer screen at one look and viewer program can be installed in several office computers without extra cost.
The measured data can be interpreted and analysed through a special, separate analysis software. This program automatically finds cracks, joints and lateral connections. A significant benefit is that the diameter of lateral, size of a crack etc. can be measured in two dimesional accuracy of one millimetre. Also the height of water flow inside the pipe can be measured in % from the pipe diameter.

Features and Benefits:
- All data in digital format
- 1mm accuracy of the data
- Pipeline condition statistics
- Manhole to manhole overviews on the computer screen
- Meander and inclination
- Measurements continuously from the manhole to manhole, no stops
- Fast operation and analysis
- Partical automatic analysis
- 100% compatible with iPEK's CO48/70 portable camera system

Clearline Laser Profiler

The ClearLine Profiler - In a Nutshell
The ClearLine Profiler has been developed to provide pipeline engineers and contractors very accurate empirical data on the ovality, capacity and other conditions in new and existing pipelines. The ClearLine Profiler simply attaches to your existiing CCTV Camera and the resulting CCTV images are analysed using innovative 'machine vision' software.

The Concept - Simple and Easy
- A ring of laser light projected onto the internal pipe surface.
- Laser image in the field of view of the camera while the camera moves through the pipe.
- Analysis preformed on the ring of light using the ClearLine profiler software to build digital pipe profile.
- For the use with live or pre-recorded to video or mpeg.

The Hardware
- Easily attaches to your existing iPEK CCTV camera.
- High-strength carbon fibre and aluminium construction.
- Internally battery powered (rechargeable) so no electrical connections are required.
- No moving parts.

Why do you need a pipe profiler?
If you are a municipality, consulting engineer or contractor the ClearLine Profiler is a necessary tool for the analysis of the true pipe condition prior to and after rehabilitation. When used as a video survey tool it can provide accuracy up to 1mm when measuring pipe size, deformation, erosion, encrustation, debris, grease, flows lateral protrusion, surface damage, holes. Our Precision Vision software uses the latest machine vision technology to automatically detect and report on many types of defects.

Benefits include
- Fast cross-sectional area calculations for determining flows reduction.
- Deformation measurement as an out-of-circle percentage.
- Erosion loss of pipe wall can easily be ascertained.
- Quantifies defects, holes or other abnormalities.

Manual Measurements

Precise measurements can be taken from a single frame captured from the pre-recorded live video. This captured frame, with its measurement of data, can be performed on the captured digital profiler to an accuracy of 1mm (for a 200mm pipe- accuracy will vary depending on pipe size, material and condition).

Automated Analysis
The ClearLine software uses machine vision. Machine vision is used to find where in the video image the laser profile (red laser line) exists. Each frame of the inspection video is analysed to build a digital profile of the pipe. From this 'profile', the ClearLine Profiler built-in functions display: Ovality, Capacity, Delta.

Using the data obtained with the ClearLine Profiler, our recent ongoing developments using 3D allow the user to navigate through the selected pipe within its local environment.
