  • NWPNET059 – Supervise and Report on Conduit Inspections (replaces NWPNET017)

Brief outline of training
Supervise Conduit Inspection and Reporting training provides students with the knowledge and skills expected of a qualified sewer or stormwater conduit inspector who would manage and supervise conduit surveys and prepare conduit inspection reports.

A student will be fully exposed to the Conduit Inspection Reporting Code of Australia WSA05, given an introduction to conduit inspection software, shown how inspect CCTV footage and prepare a conduit inspection report using inspection software.

Who should attend this training
CCTV Operators wishing to advance their skills to a supervisory level and who need to check surveys and prepare conduit inspection reports

CCTV Operators who are responsible for inspecting or reporting on, or are associated with conduit asset management, inspection or construction and are required to liaise with clients or asset managers regarding the undertaking of CCTV conduit inspections.

CCTV Operators who are required to manage, supervise or oversee CCTV conduit inspection operators.

Pre-requisites
Asset Training requires individuals seeking to undertake the CCTV Supervisor course to have completed the “NWPNET037 Inspect sewer and stormwater line” (previously known as NWPNET016 Inspect sewer and stormwater line) for CCTV Conduit Inspection Operators.

Recognition or prior learning
Asset Training recognises accredited training by other Registered Training Organisations, work & life experience and previous training for the RPL process.

Applications for recognition of prior learning should be made via the online enrolment form.

Assessment
Assessment will consist of a multiple choice assessment paper and question and answers during the course. There will also be practical observation of various inspection tasks as evidence of competence. Upon successful completion of the CCTV Supervisor conduit inspection training course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment in NWPNET017 – Supervise Conduit Inspection and Reporting.
